St. Mary’s enjoys a picturesque location on the outskirts of the village on a small rise over looking the Trent Valley. It has a chancel dating from the 12th century, a light and graceful nave, built in the 14th century and a timber-framed porch, dating from the early 16th century.

One of our regular social events is the monthly Coffee Morning on the last Saturday in the month from 10.30 a.m. in the Village Hall. This is organised by an active Social Group who organise a number of other events throughout the year.
We also have a Church-sponsored Guide and Brownie group, which meets in the Village Hall on Thursday evenings. Contact Bev Chamberlain.
We enjoy a close relationship with Weston on Trent Church Of England Primary School, which is now in its new building off Forrester Avenue. Occasional Family services are held in the School Hall.
Every house in the village receives free of charge the bi-monthly newsletter, The Village Vine, which is sponsored by the Church and the Village Hall.
